Vice President of Franchise Development
Location: Fully remote or hybrid; occasional travel to Allen, TX
Role Summary
The Vice President of Franchise Development owns franchise growth at the enterprise level. This role is accountable for building and scaling a high-performance franchise sales engine that delivers predictable, repeatable growth. The VP owns strategy and execution across the full franchise lifecycle and is directly responsible for achieving 3–4 new franchise awards per month, scaling to 5–10 per month as the system expands. This is a hands-on executive role with full revenue accountability.

Base Salary: $100,000 annually ($8,333/month)

Performance Incentives: $150,000–$200,000 annually, tied to individual and company franchise sales performance
Core Responsibilities
Executive Leadership & Accountability
- Own franchise development strategy, execution, and results.
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable the Franchise Development Manager and Franchise Relationship Manager.
- Serve as a key growth partner to the Chief Development Officer, shaping short- and long-term expansion strategy.
- Establish clear KPIs, dashboards, weekly execution rhythms, and performance reviews.
Franchise Sales & Revenue Ownership
- Own the entire franchise development lifecycle from lead to award.
- Build, forecast, and maintain a predictable, high-quality franchise pipeline.
- Personally drive high-value candidate engagement, outbound activity, and deal closing.
- Set and enforce standards for candidate experience, qualification rigor, and conversion excellence.
Performance Optimization
- Deliver consistent monthly, quarterly, and annual franchise award targets.
- Improve conversion rates through disciplined process design, CRM enforcement, and follow-up cadence.
- Analyze pipeline data, trends, and forecasts to inform executive decisions.
- Identify and eliminate bottlenecks that limit speed, quality, or scalability.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Align closely with marketing to ensure lead volume, targeting, and quality support growth goals.
- Partner with onboarding and operations to ensure smooth transition from award to launch.
- Provide feedback loops to improve messaging, positioning, and franchise readiness.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of franchise development or franchise sales leadership experience.
- Proven track record scaling franchise systems and awarding territories at volume.
- Experience building and leading high-performance sales teams.
- Strong executive communication skills with disciplined follow-through.
- Data-driven operator comfortable owning aggressive growth and revenue targets.
