Director of Franchise Development
Location: Fully remote or hybrid; occasional travel to Allen, TX
Role Summary
The Director of Franchise Development is a senior revenue leader responsible for driving predictable, scalable franchise growth. This role owns the full franchise sales engine—from lead to award—and is accountable for delivering 3–4 new franchise awards per month, scaling to 5–10 per month as the system grows. This is a hands-on leadership role that blends strategy, execution, and accountability.

Base Salary: $100,000 annually ($8,333/month)

Performance Incentives: $150,000-$200,000 in annual bonuses, tied to individual and company franchise sales performance
Key Responsibilities
Franchise Development Leadership
- Lead, coach, and hold accountable the Franchise Development Manager and Franchise Relationship Manager.
- Partner directly with the Chief Development Officer to execute and evolve the franchise growth strategy.
- Establish weekly priorities, KPIs, reporting cadence, and performance rhythms for the development team.
Franchise Sales Ownership
- Own the full franchise development lifecycle: inquiry, qualification, validation, closing, and award.
- Build and maintain a high-quality, predictable pipeline of franchise candidates.
- Personally drive outbound outreach, follow-up, and deal closing to ensure targets are hit.
- Ensure every candidate interaction reflects brand standards, values, and conversion best practices.
Performance & Execution
- Deliver consistent monthly and annual franchise award targets.
- Optimize conversion rates through process improvement, system discipline, and follow-up rigor.
- Track, analyze, and forecast pipeline metrics to support leadership decisions.
- Eliminate bottlenecks and enforce execution standards across the franchise sales process.
Cross-Functional Alignment
- Work closely with marketing to align lead volume, lead quality, and campaign performance.
- Coordinate with onboarding and operations to ensure seamless franchisee handoff post-award.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of franchise development or franchise sales experience.
- Proven success scaling franchise systems and awarding territories.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and drive performance from sales teams.
- Strong communicator with disciplined follow-through and pipeline mastery.
- Data-driven, execution-focused, and comfortable owning aggressive monthly revenue targets.
